      AD-485 Control Signal Lightning Protective Device is wildly used to protect the transmission of data of signal equipment such as telemetry signal and remote control signal equipment in computer communication system, surveillance control system, access control intercom system, PLC automatic control system, fire alarm system from lighting and surge, so it can avoid the damages caused by lightning induced voltage, network voltage fluctuation interference and electrostatic discharge.
      Main features: AD-485 communicational signal surge protective series designed according to the standard of IEC surge protector. This product is standard screw fixing joint mode interface. It could protect 1-2 group circuit multiple rated voltage selection. It is easy to install and maintain. It adopts three-level tandem type, nominal discharge current series control signal lightning protective device can reach 5KA when sensitive communication special line was used. Response time is on the order of picosecond. It can protect the equipment adopting the newest semiconductor device.

Installation and Service

 

1.Control Signal Lightning Protective Device is in series between signal path and the equipment which is protected with connection of 1.2 to 2 mode.

2. Input end of Control Signal Lightning Protective Device should be connected to signal path and output should be connected to the equipment which is protected. Do not connect the wrong end.

3. Performance will be affect if PE line of Control Signal Lightning  Protective Device does not connect to equipotential bounding.

4. This product doesn’t need specific maintenance. Make sure that the device is near to the equipment, the closer the better. When the work system failure, please remove the device and check that if the system work well without the Control Signal Lightning Protective Device, if it work normally, it means that the device should be changed.
